The message
Efficient Communication
In a :30-:45 video, making sure you have a succinct message is essential. Our price points are set so that you do not need to pack all aspects about you, or your business into one video. If your script reads at 3 minutes, you probably need multiple videos to give all points, or subjects their own time. It’s better to use each video to tackle less for more impact. Below are a few questions to help you start your script writing process.
Who is your audience
How will you resonate with that audience
Tell your story with a beginning, middle, and end
Are you.. answering a question, solving a problem, sharing news, or educating your audience.
What are your goals
What is your call to action
Rehearse
Give your script a test run (or a couple). Read through the script the way you plan to during filming. You can even ask someone to listen to your reading and see if the message is communicated as intended. Below is a script that reads around :30. Remember that it’s not about filling the time, but using the time to get the message right.

The Glamour
Camera Ready
Please show up camera ready. This means hair, makeup, and clothes are ready to film. Below are some thoughts on makeup.
Apply powder to keep shine to a minimum.
We may use multiple takes for your final video. Hair should remain the same for the entire shoot, and many clients work hard to keep flyaways at bay. Choose a hairstyle that is easily consistent (try not to change parts, or if hair is in front vs behind the shoulder).
Warm makeup colors will look the best on camera.
If you have the option of wearing contacts vs glasses, it’s a quicker process to film with contacts. Glasses can have glare (and additional issues if using the green screen).
What to Wear
There are some classic guides on what to wear when in front of a camera. These are some of the rules, but it’s your video so break the rules if you want.
Wear something you will be comfortable in and happy with.
Jewel and warm tones tend to look best on camera.
Avoid white, bright red, and full black outfits.
Avoid patterns composing too much of your outfit.
Unless it’s part of your brand, keeping it simple and classic is the best way to go.
